“We are reviewing the new regulations associated with Title IX compliance and response issued by the U.S. Department of Education. The Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office and an advisory committee will assess the impact the new rules may have on our Policy on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment and Related Misconduct and associated grievance procedures. Should any changes to our policy or procedures be necessary to comply with the Department of Education’s new rules, we will share those in detail with the community along with information about how they might impact the reporting and adjudication process.
We want the University community to know our commitment to addressing every report of sexual misconduct with a focus on the safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff remains. We will continue to provide support resources and response options for all of those impacted by sexual violence.
