Lunch and Learn: ADA 101

ADA 101 presented by Rudy Jones, Associate Director, Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office.
This session increases awareness of the University’s Reasonable Accommodations in Employment policy and familiarizes participants with their responsibilities and available resources. It will provide an overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and ADA Amendments Act of 2008.
The Lunch and Learn events are once-a-month courses, occurring on the last Wednesday of every month. The purpose of these events is to give our campus community a broader sense of what we do and the services we provide. Our next course, Sexual Harassment Awareness and Response in the Workplace, will take place on March 27th.
We welcome you to come to as many of these Lunch and Learn events as you can. Please feel free to bring your own lunch and light refreshments will be available. There is no need to sign up ahead of time, as we will have a check-in table at the event. Please be sure to bring your one card for checking in.
