Accessibility Open Town Hall Meeting

The Digital Accessibility Advisory Team (DAAT) invites you to attend the Accessibility Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, January 18 from 1:00–2:30pm at the Carolina Union – Great Hall, on the subject of UNC’s digital accessibility compliance efforts.

This meeting is a follow-up to the Commitment and Call to Action memo that was sent out to campus on October 11, 2017 (Commitment and Call to Action on Digital Accessibility). UNC has engaged The Paciello Group (TPG, www.paciellogroup.com) to help us improve the accessibility of our digital environment for people with disabilities. In this engagement, we are working with TPG to create an Accessibility Roadmap that articulates our commitment to accessibility and charts a course for building and sustaining a practice of accessibility.

This meeting will provide the campus community with an opportunity to learn more about UNC’s Digital Accessibility Initiative, and TPG’s involvement. The meeting will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about the initiative, and provide your opinions.
