As part of Veterans Day events on campus, the University hosted the second annual Tar Heel Tribute program to celebrate faculty, students, and staff who served in the United States Armed Forces on November 11, 2015. The event included lunch; information about campus and community resources, including a nonprofit organization for companion/therapeutic/service animals; and time to network with friends, colleagues, classmates, and campus leaders, including the Chancellor. More than 250 peopled attended the program.
